How to Apply How to Apply to a Bellwether Housing Apartment:

Check for open apartments using the Find an Apartment list. You can also sign up for our apartment availability e-blast here: https://mailchi.mp/dc50041189c3/news-subscriber-page
Call or email each building you are interested in to be pre-screened. Due to the high volume of leasing inquiries we receive, we may not be able to respond to all messages.
If you appear to qualify, the Site Manager will set up an appointment to view the unit and complete a rental application. Bring all requested paperwork to your appointment. It takes an average of 10 business days to process an application.
If approved, we will call you. The Site Manager will set up an appointment for you to pay your deposit and sign your lease. If you have a Section 8 Voucher, Bellwether will coordinate an apartment inspection with SHA prior to accepting a deposit.
If your application is denied, you have the right to appeal the decision.
