We have HUD subsidized homes at several of our buildings for very low-income and extremely low-income households. Subsidized apartments are available through a waiting list process. These lists are long. Waiting times are usually months or even years.
You need to complete a Pre-Application.
You can download a Pre-Application below. You can also contact the Site Manager to get a Pre-Application.
Please mail your completed Pre-Application to the building that you are applying to.
When we get your Pre-Application, we will check that you meet basic screening requirements before you are added to the wait list.
You will get a letter within four weeks that will let you know if you have been added to the list or giving the reason for a denial. Periodically, pre-applicants will receive a letter requesting updated contact information. Letters must be returned within 10 days to remain active on the waiting list.
Bellwether does not disclose a household’s position on the waiting list.
You do not need to contact the building or Bellwether's offices regarding status on the waiting list, only to update contact information.
